Welcome

to a website that visualizes music - for deaf, hard-of-hearing and also hearing people. More than 60 songs of classic, pop and rock and alternative music are waiting for you. Unique images appear automatically to each song.

Move through the room and take a look at the animation from all directions. You can also play something on your own by using the inbuilt piano. Scroll down for further information and to watch a demo. Or try it now with your PC or VR-glasses .

Mapping

Size and position

With each tone an object appears. The length of the tone corresponds to the length of the object. On each note onset a new object appears.

The further left and the fainter an object gets, the longer it has been that this note sounded. The higher pitched the tone, the higher up the object appears. The louder, the nearer and bigger it appears.

Color

Color shows which musical instruments are playing at the moment. Each instrument corresponds to a specific color. For a more detailed view, click on the colored circles.

Shape

Shape and Texture of the objects correspond to musical genre. While watching classical music round shapes appear, rock and pop music uses rectangular shapes and alternative music rectangular shaded ones.
